So, 20 years old and about to see a Star Wars film in the cinema for the first time... I cannot explain the excitement that was building up inside of me. Is it okay for me, as an adult, to be this excited about a science fiction film? My answer is: yes, of course!

|Giant Lego Yoda!|
I booked to see the film in IMAX 3D as I wanted it to be the best experience possible. I bought my drink and popcorn and found my seat in the cinema with my friends.
Obviously we were all excited, but I also felt nervous. "What if it's not as good as I want it to be?" I thought to myself. But these worries were pushed aside by the enthralling thought that I was about to see a Star Wars film, in the cinema, in IMAX, in 3D, for the first time ever!
Some may think it's childish to have such extreme feelings about a film. Those people are wrong. Even adults need escapism and being transported through film to a long time ago in a galaxy far far away is pretty damn good escapism. Star Wars doesn't have a set target audience it can appeal to people of any age, gender or background. That's what makes it so great.

|So yeah... I'm a Stormtrooper in my spare time|
I was sceptical when I found out Disney were taking over Star Wars but they have done a brilliant job with episode seven. I can only hope that Star Wars continues to be brilliant and will hopefully live on forever.
Am I the only person who had this reaction? Let me know in the comments below and if you haven't seen it yet, what are you waiting for? An incredible experience awaits!
